Send SMS under your own brand name instead of a random number. A registered sender ID makes messages instantly recognisable and more trusted by your customers.
How to apply
- Create a Connect Media account.
- Choose your sender ID — up to 11 letters and numbers.
- Send us your business registration documents, KRA PIN and a signed authorisation letter on company letterhead.
- Tell us whether you’ll send transactional alerts, promotions, or both, with sample messages.
- We submit the request to the networks and keep you updated until it’s approved.
How long it takes
Approval usually takes several working days per network. You can start sending with a default sender ID while you wait.
Tips for approval
- Use your registered business or brand name.
- Avoid generic words like INFO or ALERT, and names that resemble banks or government bodies.
- Make sure the name on your documents matches the request.
